Are you tired of binders? The constant pain of hole-punching, ripping papers, and broken rings? If so MAGNO-BINDER is for you!
Many people struggle with binders. They are tough to close, flip through, annoying to hole-punch and the rings break easily making all the papers fall out of the binder and onto the floor/the bottom of your backpack, only to be lost forever. This is a problem since binders are not only hard-to-use but also are a waste of space since they don’t work. This problem affects most of the student population and office staff. This product has a segmented market. This problem probably won’t go away in the next two to five years since the binder’s mechanics will stay the same.
Our competitor is the binder without our clips. Some people think it’s easier to hole-punch your papers instead of carrying the extra weight of the magnets. I think that if our only advantage is that you don’t have to hole-punch then people won’t buy our product. I think that if we have something that makes the extra weight a worthwhile out for our product. I think that if we add another feature, like a button that opens the clip, or the clip automatically hole-punches the paper. Our product isn’t a copycat product since there are no products, currently, that use magnetic clips to eliminate the need to hole-punch all your papers.
One idea that our group have for higher efficiency is having a magnetic clips clamping paper in between. I think that this product can become a project because I think that this product will be useful to a lot of different people. For example, people that need to organize paper or people that think three-ring binders are annoying need this product. The rings in the three-ring binders can rip your paper and MagnoClips are clips that clamp your paper in between clips so that it’s easier to put in and take paper out of your binder.
I think that this will have higher efficiency because a lot of people in the world need a product like this. The changes that our group will make is that we will clamp paper in between clips. Not a lot of products use magnets to clamp things together, especially paper. This product will help people that are having trouble putting paper in binders.
